Welcome to the world of Miss Cheesecake, aka Luke Howard (From Horse Meat Disco Fame), also known as Filthy Luka. Luke has been Dj'ing on the gay scene for 20 years at legendary clubs like Queer Nation in the 90's and many more. Today, he is also one of the Horse Meat Disco residents and plays regularly all over the world. Luke has come up with a stunning EP for FAR. "Get Off the Floor" takes its inspiration from "Paris Is Burning" and the 80's New York vogueing scene. With electronic bass lines, catchy piano, vocal hooks (courtesy of Luke) and a hint of Italia this is made for peak time playing. "You Must Create" oozes 80's with a modern House feel, melodic bass, vintage analogue keys dub in and out while Luke's vocals compliment the whole track perfectly. Next Faze Action come in on remix duties turning out a quality proto House mix of "You Must Create" with a touch of the early 90's and a dash of Balearica infused with a stripped back approach made for peak time plays. Then we have the instrumental of "You Must Create", perfect for the after hours sessions . "Get Off the Floor" has already been receiving heavy spins from the residents at Horse Meat Disco, Tim Sweeney (Beats in space) and with early support from Ross Allen, Pete Herbert and Rocky (Xpress2)."Get off the Floor" will appeal to house heads and disco freaks alike.
